What a finish for Jones’ top three!

On a muddy course at the beautiful Katherine Legge Memorial Park on Saturday, junior Hastings BaCote and sophomores Lena Almer and Selma Taylor competed against some of the state’s best teams in the Class 3A Hinsdale Sectional.

BaCote led the way for Jones for the third meet in a row, placing 48th in 19:36.99. She was the third runner from a CPS team to cross the finish line.

Almer was 66th in 19:59.84, and Taylor was 80th in 20:21.30.
