Jones returned to St. Charles North’s meet for the first time since 2018, when the current seniors were freshmen. 

Sophomore Lena Almer posted a personal-record time for the second week in a row in the 3-mile varsity race, finishing in 28th place in 19:57.2. 

Sophomore Selma Taylor (20:23.5), junior Hastings BaCote (20:58.8), junior Eva Kay Papadopoulos (21:28.7) and junior Kat Menjivar (21:35.8) also scored for Jones, which placed ninth out of 16 teams.

Sophomore Sophie Kantoff made her season debut in the freshman/sophomore race and finished 22nd in 22:28.9. Freshman Madeline Ogilvie (23:43.3), sophomore Samantha Dombar (23:47.4), freshman Luisa Gorman (24:58.8), freshman Henna Im (29:37.9) and freshman Cora Baker (29:41.3) each posted a PR in that race.

Junior Elizabeth Quansah was Jones’ top finisher in the open race, placing 21st in 22:51.9.
